Favourite Hair Care Products

Hello! I don't know about you, but my hair is one thing that I am constantly battling with. I am always trying to find the right balance between it looking good, but also keeping it healthy and not using too much on it. My hair has always been a bit of a nightmare, as naturally it is frizzy/curly and I love my hair straight. As a result of this, I find myself constantly straightening it which I know is so bad, but I can't help it! Anyway, after a recent visit to the Hairdressers, I had more cut off than I usually would, and this has given me the motivation to keep it healthy, stay on top of treating it and TRY to reduce the amount of heat I use on it! I've decided to write a post about my favourite Hair Care products, as to me it's a very important topic!

So first off I have my Shampoo and Conditioner. I am someone who is always switching between brands to see what works best, however I have recently found that not only does this combo work really well, but it also smells incredible. I chose the Garnier Ultimate Blends when I was in Boots having a browse, as you do, and I noticed this one contained Honey. I've always known Honey is good for you however never actually come across a Hair Product containing it. I have used so many products with Coconut, which works really well too, however I felt it was time for a little change!

I'm one of those people who has to have the set when it comes to Shampoo and Conditioner, I couldn't possibly use two different types! This Ultimate Blends duo is incredible. It has worked wonders on my hair already and I've been using it for around a month now. The Ultimate Blends collection has different products targeted at different hair types, and I chose to go for The Strength Restorer, as my hair needs some help in that department! The Garnier Ultimate Blends Shampoo cost £3.89 and the Conditioner also cost £3.89 (per 400ml bottle) and I purchased mine from Boots

As my hair has seemed a little drier than usual, I picked up this Strength Serum too. I figured if I loved the Shampoo and Conditioner so much, then this product would probably be just as good! I have been so pleasantly surprised with this Serum, as I normally worry that Serum's will make my hair greasy or simply not work. This product however is working a treat on my split ends! I've noticed that my hair seems bouncier and smoother, and the split ends aren't as noticeable!

The best thing about this product is how little you need to apply to see a change! I only use a small drop on my finger and run it through my ends. This particular Ultimate Blends range smells incredible, which was an added bonus as now my hair smells like Honey! This Serum cost me £4.99 and I also purchased this from Boots.

Next I have my two life savers. I don't know about you but I can't leave the house without my Batiste Dry Shampoo in my handbag. Whether my hair is feeling particularly flat and needs a boost, I've touched it too much and it's starting to look weird, or I simply need a top up, Dry Shampoo is the best thing ever. I always used Batiste because I find it's the best brand that I have used, it doesn't leave patches in my hair or small white specks as some dry shampoo's can do, and it smells amazing! I love the Blush scent, it makes me feel summery and fresh!

The next product is one I actually purchased from my hairdressers and it's the best decision I made! I often find it so much better when I've had a product used on my hair already, this way I know it'll like it. So this is the KMS California Hot Flex Spray. It's a heat defence spray that I use whenever Blow Drying or Straightening my hair, as this can be the worst part of my hair routine and it causes so many split ends! This spray prevents my hair from splitting as well as protecting it from the heat I'm applying, and it does the job very well. I think the packaging is also really cool and sleek, and I love the smell! For me, the smell of a product means a lot, especially when it's a hair product! I did manage to find a link to the site where this wonderful spray can be purchased, and it retails at £17 which I think is actually really good for this kind of spray. You can purchase this spray here

One item that I used whenever I have wet hair is my Tangle Teezer. I'm sure you've all heard of Tangle Teezer's, but if not, they're amazing little brushes that you hold in the palm of your hand. They have soft bristles and work wonders on wet hair! The delicate bristles prevent any damage to your hair and also eliminate any tangles! They're also so cute and fun, ranging in so many shapes and colours! I chose pink as it's my favourite colour, however I'm so tempted by the new black and gold one!

I do think I'm due a new one, as I use this one so much and it's starting to look dull! I love this brush so much and would highly recommend it to anyone!

My final items are these cute little hair bobbles. They're actually known as 'Invisibobbles', and they're designed to prevent any kinks or marks in your hair after you've had it tied back. My bobbles were actually from Accessorize however you can purchase the genuine Invisibobble from Boots here for a fab price of £3.75! I love them because they're so cute, but also work really well! I hate it when hair bobbles are too tight or kink my hair, but these little creations are perfect!

I hope you enjoyed this post and reading all about my favourite Hair Care products!
