Brand Of The Month - Soap & Glory

Hey Guys!

Today I decided to write a post about the brand that I think has impressed me the most this month. You may notice that a few items in this post aren't necessarily from this month only, however I have either purchased them, or found myself using them more this month and I love them!

So as you'll have seen from the title, my brand of the month is Soap & Glory. Words cannot describe how much I love this brand, it really is amazing. From their incredible PR and Marketing, to the beautiful products ranging from Beauty to Skincare, I find Soap & Glory have something for everyone.

I'm going to start with Beauty products, even though it would make more sense to do Skincare first! I purchased the 'One Heck Of A Blot' Primer from Boots earlier last week, and I haven't looked back. This beautifully packaged primer is not just soft, gentle and easy to use, it's also very, very good. I usually use the Laura Mercier primer, however after hearing such fab reviews about this one, I had to give it a try. I'm so glad I purchased this product, as I've fallen in love with it.

As you can see, it's such a good formula. The primer sits so well on the skin, and I find my makeup is staying all day. The texture is smooth and velvety, which is obviously so nice when applying to your face. It almost feels like applying a moisturiser, no grease or oil, just a beautifully soft product. This primer retails at £10 in Boots and on Boots.com!

This image shows you how the primer looks once massaged into the skin, you can still see it, however it sits so nicely and feels amazing.

My next products are these two incredible powders. I can't quite get my head around how gorgeous these are. The packaging makes me smile every time, as Soap & Glory keep up with their witty, clever themed products. I also love the imagery used, it's so empowering and almost makes me not want to use the product as its so pretty.

I have spoken about the 'Love At First Blush' Blush before, however after loving this blush so much, I felt it was time I invested in the Bronzer too. The 'Wonderbronze' is simply incredible. I only have to use two gentle taps of my brush to get a decent amount of product, and the shimmer is so so pretty. I love the way the product has been designed too. The spiral design just makes me want to keep it brand new and never reach the pan. These two powders are ones I will certainly be replacing again and again, as they've become my go to items. Both of these amazing products cost only £11!

I just wanted to briefly mention the mascara. I have been using this mascara now for around 3 months, and this is my second tube. I find the 'Thick&Fast' mascara to work so well on elongating and emphasising my lashes. The product is so gentle too, and really easy to remove with both make-up wipes and remover. I love the shape of the brush, it's the perfect shape to ensure all of your lashes get a nice touch of product without making them look clogged or stick together. Also, the packaging. Who doesn't love a golden, glitzy product in their make-up bag?! This mascara retails at a very affordable £10.50.

I purchased these cheeky little Lip Sticks a few weeks ago, after seeing so many amazing reviews. I'd never tried a Soap & Glory lip stick before, only my favourite 'Pillow Plump' gloss, which I love more than anything! I was pleasantly surprised by these cute little sticks. I decided to go for two matte finishes and one gloss, and I love the way they all look.

As you can see from my swatch, the glossy finish product is so shiny and pretty. All colours look amazing and work so so well with almost any outfit. I found the middle product to be slightly bright, so I actually doubled up with the glossy finish stick and it created the perfect look for me. I find these lip sticks to be really easy to wear, and you don't have to keep applying every time you eat either, which is a bonus!! So, the first shade in matte is 'Choccoberry', we then have the next matte which is 'Pretty Muted', and finally the glossy finish which I have in 'Pink-A-Boo'. Each of these lip products retails for just £3.50!

Now, moving on to my Skincare products. I purchased these products around a week and a half ago, and have used them already! I couldn't wait, my skin has been so temperamental recently and as soon as I saw these I knew I had to try them out.

The first product is the 'Fab Pure - Purifying Foam'. This foam is in-cred-ible. I couldn't believe how smooth and gentle it was. The best part is that it contains Witch Hazel, which I love the smell of! This product is clean your skin, leaving you with a radiant, healthy glow. I have used this product four times and already know it's a new staple product for me! This product retails at £8.00

Then we have the 'No Clogs Allowed - Deep Pore Detox Mask'. I've never really bothered with a product like this before, simply because I didn't really know a lot about them. Having only read the back of this products packaging, I already knew exactly what to do! The idea of this product is to un-clog your T-Zone and really clean your skin properly. I found it worked perfectly after just one use, which may seem optimistic, however I really did see a difference, especially with black head control. You can pick this product up from your local Boots store for £11.50.

The product has a thick texture, and it sits on the skin for around 5 minutes, then you rub it off and leave your skin to rest before applying moisturiser! Again, I love this product. It also smells incredible too!

Finally we have the 'Scrub Your Nose In It - AHA Facial Scrub', which again has such a clever name! I just love the way Soap & Glory design and market their products!! Anyway, this product is one I have used a little more frequently, and again it targets your T-Zone. The purpose of this product is to scrub your nose, exactly what it says on the tin (box). This product really helped to remove impurities and dirt, leaving my face feeling smooth and smelling amazing too. This product cost me £9 and again, I purchased it from my local Boots store!

So as a whole, Soap & Glory has really, really impressed me this month, as it does every month to be honest! The fact that the brand turned 10 recently also highlights just how successful and right they are. They literally know how to create the perfect product for each individual, and I find their products so well priced too! Do let me know if you try any of these items, and what your thoughts were!
